💼 Job Application as a Publicist: Learning to Present Professional Skills
As part of the training process, we developed the activity “Job Application”, which aimed to strengthen professional communication skills in English and simulate a real-world hiring scenario. The main goal was to practice how to present ourselves confidently, highlight our abilities, and demonstrate our qualifications for a position in the advertising field.
Through this exercise, we learned how to structure a job application, write a professional cover letter, and express ideas fluently during an interview. It also helped us reflect on the importance of personal branding and how creativity, strategic thinking, and communication are essential qualities for a successful publicist.
This activity was not only a language exercise but also an opportunity to connect academic learning with real professional contexts, preparing us for future job opportunities in the world of advertising.
